Job Description

You’ll play an essential role in building our Retail Learning and Development strategy and scaling our existing Retail Learning programs at Vuori. This is a unique opportunity to leverage the strengths of a company culture committed to developing the whole person in and outside of work while building programs from the ground up. The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned expert in Retail Learning and Development, bringing deep experience in designing learning journeys, content and experiences for core segments of retail employees. You possess an entrepreneurial spirit and are eager to lead a team of passionate culture champions that will scale learning programs end-to-end (design, pilot, iterate). Your commitment to collaboration is paired with innovative approaches to development that enable us to test new modalities and deliver content that is easy to understand, fun and impactful. In this role, you'll report to the Senior Director, Learning and Development with a dotted line to the Director of Stores; you will collaborate closely across Retail, People & Culture and other subject matter experts across Vuori.

Qualifications

What you'll get to do: 

  • Partner with the Sr. Director, Learning and Development and Director of Stores to develop strategy and roadmap for Retail Learning
  • Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of all Retail learning programs and capabilities, defining learning journeys, identifying appropriate modalities and assessment methods
  • Lead a team of experienced field trainers; support the growth and development of the Retail Learning team as it continues to scale
  • Leverage emerging People Leader and Values and Competency programs as well as existing Peak Leader and other learning materials to develop content recommendations
  • Assess and gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to refine and ensure programs and experiences remain impactful, meet objectives and communicate these findings as appropriate
  • Consult and partner across the business, Retail, and People & Culture teams to ensure content and outcomes are defined across Retail audiences
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions as necessary
  • Experiment with innovative approaches to learning that drive engagement and align with our shared traditions and brand

Who you are: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience needed
  • 10+ years professional experience
  • Acts as a strategic, inclusive leader within the team; can connect strategy and approach across programs and the business
  • Strong execution of programs to grow and develop internal talent
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills, adept at developing and maintaining effective working relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills; able to set and manage expectations and competing priorities
  • Experience developing Retail Learning programs that integrate coaching, workshops, peer learning, self-directed learning, and other unique modalities strongly preferred
  • Experience building impactful programs that incorporates a wide breadth of content areas from diversity and inclusion, process, product, service and leadership
  • Proven ability to build, roll out, manage and scale learning solutions across a variety of employee segments
  • Exceptional project management skills, from concept, to planning, to implementation, to results measurement
  • Proactive and able to drive project work with a sense of ownership
  • Domestic Travel up to 20% of the year

The salary range for this role is $185,000 per year - $205,000 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
