Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst will work with the members of the Finance organization to support the financial planning and reporting for the various cost centers/channels (Retail, eComm, Wholesale, International) and the consolidation reporting. This role will support monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts and annual budgeting processes. The financial analyst will report and monitor performance trends, establish budget vs. actual reporting and support the forecast/close reviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good communication skills with an ability to work well with others. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Support financial plans and forecasts for various cost centers. Provide visibility to actual results versus budget, forecast and prior year.   
  • Support the existing forecast and budget process, including deliverables and standardizing templates and reporting.   
  • Partner with the department leaders to develop detailed forecasts and analysis to support expense forecasts.   
  • Establish regular communication with department leaders to communicate monthly results and determine impacts where relevant to rolling forecasts. 
  • Support the accounting close by reviewing variances from forecast to identify any necessary accruals or other adjustments to the financial statements.  
  • Support the Senior Financial Analyst with the monthly consolidated reporting as needed; provide support for monthly reporting package. 
  • Enhance/automate finance processes, models, and reporting, challenge existing assumptions and methodologies. Including but not limited to capex reporting and forecasting.   
  • Flexible team player assisting in ad-hoc project and finance needs. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from an accredited university in accounting or finance. 
  • Certified Public Accountant or MBA preferred. 
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of finance experience, preferably in apparel or another consumer goods industry.   
  • Strong analytical skills – Advanced analysis and excel skills, and familiarity using and extracting data from various systems. 
  • Familiarity with BI tools a plus (Domo, Power BI, Microstrategy). 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.  
  • Must be detail oriented and organized, with an ability to maintain multiple versions of forecasts.   
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills are important, due to the need to work cross functionally in a fast-growing company. 
  • Flexible team player that enjoys hands on responsibilities, with an ability to be proactive and a self-starter. Ability to work independently and effectively research and solve problems. 
  • Apparel industry and experience with Microsoft d365, Shopify a plus. 

Additional Information

Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000
