Job Description
Your mission during this flight:
As part of the Laboratory Testing Team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the effective testing and validation of aircraft systems.
Here are your key responsibilities:
- You will design, develop, and maintain test benches for various aircraft systems, including Flight Controls, Avionics, and Propulsion.
- You will define hardware and software requirements for test setups, and assist with the procurement of necessary components.
- You will collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to develop, modify, and retrofit test benches.
- You will work alongside test engineers to develop realistic and representative testing scenarios.
- You will ensure configuration control and calibration of test bench equipment.
- You will modify the test bench signals database following Interface Control Documents (ICD) provided by suppliers.
- You will troubleshoot and support test campaigns across different environments, including structural, propulsion, and wind-tunnel tests.
- You will diagnose and resolve issues during testing to guarantee reliable and accurate results.
- You will automate and optimize testing processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
- You will contribute to the development of testing strategies, ensuring adherence to standards.
Qualifications
Check in your professional skills:
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience with scalable hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with NI data acquisition systems and related technologies.
- Experience with automating failure insertion techniques for aircraft systems, including power loss, wiring failures, and data corruption.
- Expertise in data acquisition and signal generation for analog sensors like LVDTs, strain gauges, accelerometers, and temperature sensors.
- Knowledge of aerospace databuses such as CAN/ARINC-825 and ARINC-429.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
