Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). Your mission during this flight:

• You will plan, execute, and interpret multi-physics performance analysis of the A/C
• You will perform performance survey analyses and identify aircraft point and mission performance
• You will plan flight performance test campaigns, support execution, and conduct data reduction and post-processing
• You will validate models and tools based on test results (bench, ground, and flight tests)
• You will prepare compliance demonstration documents for the certification process of the aircraft

Check in your professional skills:

• Excellent knowledge and experience on rotorcraft flight dynamics and flight physics
• Knowledge and experience on rotor/rotorcraft aerodynamics, aerodynamic interactions and mathematical modeling
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in aircraft performance
• Proficient in programming and data processing with languages such as Python, and scripting like Matlab
• A structured way of working and a high sense of accountability

Preferred skills:

• Experience and involvement in ground and flight testing
• Previous involvement in the certification process and knowledge of applicable requirements
• Working experience with Flightlab, CAMRAD, CHARM, or other aircraft modeling tools
