Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). We have pledged to bring urban air mobility to life by getting electric air taxis and other eVTOLs off the ground in a way that complements existing transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable, on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we carried out the first-ever piloted flight of a fully electric multicopter and have since conducted more than 1,500 public and private test flights across the world (www.volocopter.com). 

Your crew during this flight:

As a Working Student in our Mechanical Engineering Management Team, you will work closely with and support the Head of Department, Technical Project Manager(s) and Engineering Manager(s) in their day-to-day business.

Your mission during this flight:

​​​​​​​As a member of the department management team, you may take on administrative as well as operative tasks in which you can express your strengths, like creativity, coordinative talent, and communication skills. Furthermore, you will experience your Working Student activities as a learning journey alongside an experienced engineering department and leadership team. You will be able to dive into different topics and responsibilities. Your opinion is very valuable to us and you are always invited to express it.

Check in your professional skills:

Required:

• You are fluent in English
• You hold a work permit valid for a working student role: either as an EU citizen, a permanent resident of the EU or through a student visa with a permit to work
• You are currently studying a bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Management, or a similar program, ideally, in your last semester of your studies
• You have very good MS-Office skills
• You gathered first experience working with Atlassian Software, Jira and Confluence
• You enjoy challenges and proactively thinking steps ahead
• You are a highly communicative team player, who excels in a self-responsible and solution-oriented way of working
• You have solid organizational and executive skills, as well as a strong customer orientation  

Preferred:

• You are fluent in German
• You have already gained some practical experience in Consulting, Business Development, Business Administration, IT, or similar area
