Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

As DOA Processes Engineer you will be part of the Office of Airworthiness Team, assisting with the update and compliance of Design Organization processes. Together with the team, you will perform further development of the Volocopter DOA Design Assurance System on organizational and product levels to assist the full scope of Volocopter’s Products development and certification activities.

  • You update and development of DOA processes as part of the Office of Airworthiness Team
  • You assist in the management of DOA compliance according to the applicable Part 21 requirements
  • You are responsible for the maintenance of the Design Organization Handbook in close liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • You perform the processes gap analysis according to the applicable requirements
  • You establish and develope processes between DOA and POA 

Qualifications

Check-in your professional skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in aviation design, aerospace project development, technical documentation development
  • Proven experience in Airworthiness functions within DOA
  • Throughout knowledge of the regulatory framework for Design Organization Approval (Part 21)
  • Experience in the development and/or update of DOA DAS processes
  • Team player with strong communication skills 

Preferred skills:

  • Proven experience in Airworthiness functions within DOA
