We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. Your mission during this flight:

As a test pilot within the Product Development Flight Test team, you will be an essential part of the test activities from preparation to implementation and reporting. Moreover, you will take part in the preparation of deployment of the VoloDrone in operations.

• Manage developmental flight test activities of Volocopter’s utility drones (VoloDrone)
• Plan, execute and report on flight test activities of autonomous and remotely piloted drones
• Partner with European regulators to develop UAM and UTM policy and regulation
• Advise engineering and flight operations teams about the opportunities and risks of integrating drones into shared airspace
• Perform the Ground and Flight Tests activities on the VoloDrone prototypes
• Prepare the Test Plans and Test Orders
• Contribute to the Flight Test Operational Risks analysis (SORA)|
• Perform functional troubleshooting and contributing to problem-solving
• You will contribute to developing the Test Processes and related organization

Check in your professional skills:

• You are a Test Pilot graduate from a recognised test pilot school (EPNER, NTPS, ITPS, ETPS, USNTPS, USAF TPS)
• You have 5 years of experience in Developmental Flight Test
• You have Rotary-wing or VTOL experience
• You are a communicative team player and have organizational and implementation power
• You have a responsible, initiative and solution-oriented way of working

Preferred skills:

• Experience in Drone piloting is a plus
