We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. Your future Volocopter crew:

As Product Owner VoloIQ Air Operations at Volocopter, you will be part of the CDO Resort working as an integral part of our product design team. You are the domain expert and bring to the table your industry experience and deep knowledge of existing aviation rules and standards. Your daily duties include close collaboration with the product management and relevant internal business units, to make sure Volocopter’s digital products meet the requirements for operation in an Urban in Mobility service.  

• Shape our Air Ops VoloIQ module in alignment with the requirements of our Flight Operation, Volodrone and Flight Test Teams
• Definition of processes, requirements, epics and user stories to meet stakeholder needs and intended functionality
• Manage and prioritize the backlog and align it with other Volocopter release trains
• Identify the requirements of interfacing systems to the Air Ops Modules (Safety Management System, Maintenance / Repair System, …)

Check in your professional skills:

• Degree in IT, computer science, aerospace engineering or any related field of engineering
• Proven track record as a product owner
• Several years of experience in the field of air operation
• Reliability, ability to work in a team and high customer orientation paired with an independent way of working 
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
