We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. Your mission during this flight:

As an experienced P&O Specialist, you will be our first point of contact for People & Organization at our Singapore location. Your responsibilities within our international, diverse, and energetic team will be to focus on Singapore talent acquisition, payroll, and operational support.

Reporting to our Senior HR Manager located in Bruchsal, Germany, you will support the further growth of the Singapore entity, with close collaboration with our headquarters. 

Your pioneer spirit will help you be a catalyst part of our highly dynamic, target-oriented, and human-centered organization. Together with you, we aim to proactively shape Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience, and our Volocopter Culture in an international space. 

Talent Acquisition:

• You will be responsible for finding and hiring the best talent for all open positions at Volocopter Singapore and the broader Asia Pacific region
• You will build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
• You are going to develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
• You will conduct all candidate screening, conduct interviews, use selection tools to filter candidates, and organize interview scheduling
• You will assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes

Employee Experience:

• You are an expert in all People & Organization-related topics along the whole employee journey, from onboarding to offboarding of an employee
• You will be the first point of contact for our external payroll provider and work together with them for the monthly payroll process and CPF calculator
• You will be responsible for managing all group insurance and invoice reimbursement for the Singapore branch
• You will be the first point of contact for MOM and regarding all standard Singapore working law questions for our employees
• You will work extensively with all internal and relevant external partners
• You will work as a liaison between management in Singapore, the Singapore team, and Germany headquarter

• You understand the needs of recruitment and employee experience
• You are detail-oriented and precise
• You have 3+ years of professional experience as an HR Generalist in Singapore
• You have profound and hands-on know-how in Singapore employment laws and best practices
• You have excellent MS Office and HRIS knowledge
• You are fluent in English
• You have a valid work permit in Singapore (either through your nationality or permanent residence)
