Job Description

Your future Volocopter crew:

You will be part of our fast growing Quality Team and will join 6 experienced Aviation-Quality-Managers. We are working on different topics like compliance, approvals, quality-assurance and industry standards.

Your mission during this flight

Volocopter is currently establishing a Strategic Quality Management Team with the purpose to manage compliance into the different organizational requirements from one central location.

As Quality Manager you will directly interface with all approved organizations of Volocopter, such as the Design, Production, Operations and Maintenance Organization.

You will adapt to internal and external changes which could affect the ongoing compliance of the management system regarding POA.

You will: 

  •  Define, implement and maintain the Volocopter Quality Requirements for Supplier qualification and maintenance based on regulatory requirements(e.g. EASA, LBA etc.) and industrial standards.
  • Prepare and maintain Supplier audit programs and conduct supplier audits.
  • Manage root-cause analysis and corrective action plans against non-conformances.
  • Analyze supplier quality data and define improvements.


 

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as Quality Manager in positions of comparable complexity within the aviation domain
  • Thorough knowledge of the EASA regulatory environment and EASA practices
  • Evidence of recent training in relevant Quality Management Standards, such as AS/EN/JISQ 9100, EASA Part-21, or equivalent
  • Qualification and current experience as first, second or third party auditor for management systems
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English
