We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. Your mission during this flight:

As a member of the Volocopter Southeast Asia Team, you are responsible for planning, validating, and executing all operational elements required for the approved commercial air transport service, from the initial preparatory phase, throughout the evaluation/commissioning phase, and finally into the official launch.

Reporting to the Head of Singapore & BD Southeast Asia, you will organize the operational setup activities including local engagements with various ecosystem partners, coordinating facility/site visits, planning resources for future operations, and navigating the work assignments of the detailed launch plan. 
You have a hands-on, can-do attitude and you are willing to go the extra mile to make sure that business needs are met. 

• In close coordination with HQ Ops Team, plan, validate and execute the operational requirements for Singapore in terms of the Air Operating Certificate (AOC) including:
  • Flight Operations 
  • VoloPort Operations
  • Maintenance/Hangar Operations
  • Passenger Service Operations
• Orchestrate the Singapore launch activities as the primary “boots on ground” individual securing the necessary partnerships and contracts for operational sites, facilities, and equipment
• Establish the operational ecosystem network including logistics, technical support, spare parts inventory, agency/contracting services, AOG readiness, equipment availability, and all other support services to sustain the operations
• Develop, document, and implement business budgets, processes, and procedures

Check in your professional skills:

Required skills: 

• Minimum 5-8 years experience in an aviation role, preferably with airlines/air charter AOC or MRO operations
• Academic degree in aerospace, engineering, business, or comparable study program
• Experience in planning, budgeting, and coordinating complex projects
• Excellent command in spoken and written English and 1 other Asian language
• Ability and willingness to work in an agile and fast-growing organization 

 Preferred skills: 

• Deep knowledge of CAAS regulatory process including flight operations; continued airworthiness; crew licensing and training; heliport/ground operations; and maintenance
• Actively engaged with the aviation industry in Singapore
• Knowledge and experience of doing business in Singapore
