Job Description

Your Role

We are looking for a (Senior) Investor Relations Manager North America and Europe, who will be building a world-class Investor Relations function, emphasizing strong relationships with the analyst and investor community. The successful candidate will report to the CFO and work closely with the CEO, CFO and the Controlling, Communication and Corporate Finance departments. You serve as Volocopter’s face to the analyst and investment community, proactively representing our equity story and responding to inquiries promptly. You will articulate Volocopter’s vision, mission, strategies, financial and operational results, and communicate feedback and perceptions to the management as appropriate. You will manage the Volocopter IR website to ensure timely and effective dissemination of key disclosures and identify opportunities to enhance external investor resources.

You will drive investor communication for the worldwide pioneer of urban air mobility, in close collaboration with agile, fast-paced, ambitious teams in a great, transparent, diverse and truly global team.

You will ideally be based in the U.S. Eastern time zone, or in Europe, and are willing to cover European afternoon and U.S. daytime.

Your Tasks

  • Key point of contact towards public and private investors from all around the globe, with a focus on North America and Europe
  • Key point of contact towards analysts
  • Planning and implementation of a holistic IR organization, including processes, people and tools
  • Implementation of an IR corporate calendar displaying relevant disclosures, due dates, corporate governance dates and IR initiatives
  • Responsible for capital market compliance
  • Responsible for organizing annual shareholder meetings
  • Planning and management of investor events (conferences, road shows), investor presentations, briefing materials, press releases, fact sheets, etc.
  • Manage the Volocopter IR website; identify opportunities to enhance external investor resources
  • Support in development of equity story and ESG reporting
  • Monitor and report on industry and peer company information and practices by tracking research reports, news, earnings calls and other relevant resources

Qualifications

  • Experience with public fast-growing, technology companies
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of Investor Relations experience
  • Advanced degree in business or finance, a Ph.D., MBA or CFA is a plus
  • Proven communication and presentation skills, including messaging skills, applied confidently and consistently in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience with US and/or EU disclosure requirements, equity research and capital market compliance
  • Effective networking skills and the clear experience quickly building trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Credibility and gravitas, both with external and internal constituencies
  • Strong intellect, combined with excellent commercial and analytical skills
  • You are a teamwork enthusiast
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
