We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. Your mission during this flight:

As Product Owner E-Commerce Platform at Volocopter, you will be part of the CDO Resort, working as an integral part of our Product Design & PO team. You will be part of defining and executing our urban air mobility customer operations by setting up and steering the implementation of our VoloIQ e-commerce platform. Hereby, you will develop the big picture of the VoloIQ e-commerce platform which will handle customer bookings, dynamic pricing, payments, loyalty programs, and third-party integrations.

• Defining the VoloIQ e-commerce platform strategy and vision to enable scalable worldwide customer operations 
• Deriving implications for implementing an e-commerce platform from the overall strategy and the product roadmap, clarify technical and business requirements as well as their implications for third-party systems and dependencies to other domains in PI plannings.
• Be responsible for the constant exchange and alignment with stakeholders about the roadmap and the definition and implementation of new requirements
• Working closely with overarching VoloIQ-POs and the development team in the definition of epics, user stories, and their implementation
• Defining, maintaining and prioritizing the backlog 

Check in your professional skills:

• Successfully completed a Degree in a relevant field of study
• Several years of experience as a product owner in the e-commerce environment 
• Extensive experience in building or migrating e-commerce and payment systems within a complex and heterogeneous system landscape
• Be familiar with container technologies, serverless computing as well as microservice architecture landscapes
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
• Experience with Agile working methods according to Scrum and the cooperation with international teams
• Reliability, ability to work in a team, and a high level of customer orientation paired with an independent working method
• Aerospace background is a plus
