We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. We are looking for you as our Head of Financial Statements and Consolidation. You will setup, maintain and drive world-class and scalable financial consolidation, closing and other core finance processes on group level. You will be responsible for managing, leading, and growing the Financial Statements and Consolidation and ensure internal control over financial reporting compliance. The position is highly diverse, working on multiple exciting and challenging projects worldwide, with many stakeholders inside and outside Volocopter.

Your Tasks

• Lead our financial statement and consolidation team and be responsible for all external reporting requirements for the Volocopter Group
• Generate all consolidated financial statements for closing periods, annual report & management commentary, incl. segment reporting
• Key interface with our Financial Accounting, Controlling and Tax teams
• Continuously improve our closing process and own our closing calendar, including intercompany relations
• Continuously improve the accounting manual & chart of accounts, introduce new IFRS standards and make sure they are applied
• Process Owner for our worldwide Ready to Report (R2R) and Asset Management, ensuring SOX ICFR compliance
• Own accounting (IT-) Systems and standards, adopt a digital-first mindset
• Drive operational excellence together with the financial accounting team
• Contact person for auditor and financial advisors

• 7+ years of professional accounting experience as an auditor and/or in a publicly listed company, ideally in aviation or automotive
• Leadership and communication skills with experience in building, scaling and managing teams
• High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines at once
• Above-average university degree in business administration
• Preferably you are a qualified accountant (e.g. CPA, ACCA, WP)
• Expert knowledge in current IFRS application
• Experience in establishing, improving & communicating processes
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Lucanet is a big plus
• Preferably knowledge in SOX compliance and SEC reporting requirements
• Very good English language skills, experienced in an international business environment; minimum advanced German language skills
