We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electrical multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale Volocopter (www.volocopter.com).

Your mission during this flight:

In this role you will be part of our IT Department that is responsible for the overall IT Service Operation and plays a key role in ensuring smooth processes. Here we control and optimize the business processes and infrastructures that enable our multicultural and innovative team to decisively shape our vision of the future of mobility. 
Together with the Product Owner you will ensure the successful operation of Siemens NX and Teamcenter in line with our business needs. Is this exactly your thing? Because you are part of a team that ensures smooth business operations with its broad IT knowledge. 

• Be responsible for the deployment of Teamcenter, NX, and other mechanical design tools, supporting a variety of Teamcenter applications
• Actively monitor and continuously improve the production environment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability
• Together with the Product Owner, provide administration, extension and support of Siemens NX and Teamcenter as well as concept creation for its further development
• Ensure that version upgrades get implemented successfully (patch management, software updates and software distribution)
• 2nd or 3rd level support 
• Implementation and optimization of latest technologies
• Quality assurance and project management
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and user manuals 

Check in your professional skills:

• Completed IT studies or training as IT specialist / system integration and/or several years of professional experience in comparable positions
• Experience and comprehensive knowledge regarding the introduction of new IT and project management
• 3 years of experience on design side using and also in administrating Teamcenter/NX applications
• Possibly broad knowledge of hardware- software solutions from various vendors
• The latest technology inspires you and problems are challenges for you
• Reliability, ability to work in a team and high customer orientation paired with an independent way of working
• Very good German and good English skills
