Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer for Cloud Platforms and Services, you are part of the CDO resort working on the conceptual design and further development of requirements for the VoloIQ platform. 

  • You will be responsible for projects from the initial idea until implementation
  • You will mentor DevOps engineers in gaining experience and responsibilities
  • You will review pull requests and give guidance on best practices
  • You will participate to our DevOps on duty rotation to identify and troubleshoot issues, outages and bugs
  • You will be up to date with innovative technologies on the market and continuously improve our cloud platform landscape
  • You will drive our cloud and code-first strategy, make the benefits visible to other IT teams
  • You will measure metrics and KPIs to provide insight into the efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • A degree in business informatics, mathematics, economics, or a comparable vocational training
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps
  • Experience in managing cloud infrastructure
  • Experience in concept, design and implementation of infrastructure architectures
  • Good knowledge of micro-service architectures (Docker, Kubernetes)  in Azure Cloud
  • Infrastructure and configuration as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Familiar in using tools like Visual Studio Code and Git
  • Experience in CI/CD workflows (github actions would be plus)
  • ELK or other cloud-native observability stacks
  • Windows and/or Linux OS Administration
  • Good understanding of scripting and programming languages (i.e. Bash, Powershell, Golang)
  • Passionate about the DevOps culture, Cloud Native and trending technologies
  • Strong problem solving and automation skills (how to reduce the operational load to a minimum)
  • A customer-centric approach with an open and constructive communication style and high self-motivation
  • Experienced in production-grade operations (Product Launches, On-call duty, Backup, Monitoring, Alerting, Incident management, Disaster Recovery, Service Level Objectives, Post-mortem)
