We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. As Cyber Security Manager at Volocopter, you will be part of the CDO resort and will be responsible for all topics related to Cyber and IT-Security. You will provide operational support but also develop the bigger picture in terms of strategic security concerns. You will be part of the CDO staff team and report on all security-related topics, as well as provide support to our fast-growing business units.

Your Role: 

• Defining the overall cyber security strategy and resulting organizational and technical measures
• Identifying threats to the organization, critical business systems, and assets
• Assessing relevant irregularities and implementing counteractions
• Defining key figures and reports
• Providing guidance and consultation in different security aspects
• Coordinating and supporting our Service Desk or Operation Center teams in case of security incidents
• Creating and maintaining relevant documentation

• Successfully completed a degree in the field of Computer Science, IT or in a similar field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cyber or IT-Security Manager
• Up-to-date knowledge in the Cyber and IT-Security field
• Experience with ISO 27001 certification
• Aerospace background is a plus
• Reliability, ability to work in a team, and a high level of customer orientation paired with an independent working method
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
