Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

You will be a member of our flight test team, planning and conducting both manned and unmanned flight test campaigns and continuing to build up the Flight Test Organization. Tests will usually be conducted locally but may involve campaigns at remote locations from time to time. You will work closely with our team to design, integrate and operate the Instrumentation System to help with the flight test campaign of our new aircraft.

  • You select test equipment that satisfies measurement requirements for the instrumentation system
  • You perform circuit and wiring design for the implementation of safe hardware installations
  • You provide work instructions and direction and assist with the maintenance of instrumentation systems
  • You document and control working processes and configuration files
  • You maintane, monitor and do calibration of sensors and equipment

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Minimum 7 years experience in Instrumentation Engineering
  • Master's Degree in an Engineering field
  • In depth knowledge of airborne data acquisition and record systems required
  • In depth knowledge of sensors and airborne test systems used in the support of flight test
  • Familiarity with following bus formats: CAN-BUS, ARINC-429, RS-232/422/485
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Structures, systems, and assemblies
  • Experience to configure computer systems and local area networks – Windows and Linux

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in Sensor/Wiring installation
  • Experience with CAD/Schematic drawings tools
  • Basic programming skills, like Python
