Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

As Aircraft System Engineer you will be in charge of all aircraft level inputs to reviews and milestones such as SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, GTRR, and FRR on time and on quality.

For this purpose, you manage proper baselining of requirements and coherence through all levels of specifications, drive aircraft requirement validation, and ensure proper processes implementation according to Design Organization Handbook (DOH). You will be part of the aircraft team and work closely with all design engineers, manufacturing, and quality. 

  • You do requirements Based Engineering (RBE): capture, decompose, review, and baseline trace requirements
  • You elaborate and manage technical documentation as per the specification tree for aircraft certification deliverables, including a high-level functional interface control document
  • You coordinate and liaise with the Validation & Verification (V&V) team in the technical planning and execution of engineering activities through the V&V cycle
  • You participate in the change control board to ensure correct impact assessment and implementation of changes
  • You assist with the development of engineering processes, guidance and review checklists at various phases of design and development

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Knowledge of SAE-ARP-4754A and SAE-ARP-4761A
  • At least 6 years experience in the validation and verification of complex, high-reliability systems
  • Good knowledge of all technical aspects related to aircraft systems and aircraft flight physics
  •  Experience in requirements management tools (such as DOORS or Integrity)
  • Proficient with quality management and processes

Preferred skills:

  • Self-starter with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Organizing ability as well an as high sense liability and accountability, hands-on attitude
  • Excellent communication, and negotiation skills and comfortable interfacing with all levels of personnel
