We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electrical multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale Volocopter (www.volocopter.com).

Your mission during this flight:

As a member of our Business Development Team, you analyze and build up future commercial air taxi routes in metropoles all over the globe, you support the team to initiate and maintain partnerships along Volocopter’s value chain, and you contribute to the further refinement of our company’s overall strategy and go-to-market approach. 

• Help prepare the international roll-out of our services in target cities all over the world. Assist in segmenting and assessing markets, building financial business models, describing customer profiles, developing air taxi route networks, and preparing events
• Bring in your own ideas and support the development and design of the Service concept and Customer Journey
• Take ownership and lead your own projects supported/guided by your Supervisor
• Identify and evaluate strategic partners to build the air taxi ecosystem. Help establish the partnerships and support the contracting process
• Be part of international flight test events
• Develop your skills and take a steep learning curve. 

Check in your professional skills:

Required Skills: 

• You are available for 6 months (full-time) 
• You are a student in Industrial Engineering, Business Information, Business Administration or a comparable subject, ideally at the end of your Bachelor's or Master's degree 
• First relevant working experience - already completed projects or internships in Consulting, Strategy, Sales, Business Development, Project Management, or similar.

Preferred Skills: 

• Excellent MS Office Skills 
• Communicative team player, organizational and implementation strength, customer orientation 
• You show initiative, enjoy accountability, and have a solution-oriented way of working 
• Excellent English, written and spoken.
