Technical Marketing & Enablement at VMware provides the bridge between the company's marketing efforts and its engineering knowledge. The members of technical marketing & enablement group are expected to be virtualization experts as well as evangelists who have a commanding understanding of VMware EUC products technologies and know how to integrate them into end to end solutions that address the business and IT challenges of our customers. The group is responsible for the technical enablement of the VMware field, partners and customers.

VMware is looking for an experienced Technical Marketing & Enablement Architect who has extensive development & customer facing experience. You will be called upon to leverage your development skills and experience to develop end to end integrated solutions that are built on VMware technologies and solutions. You will achieve this through the development of best practices, reference architectures, technical presentations and videos as well as evaluation guides to empower our field, partners and customers who are looking to implement VMware EUC technologies and solutions in their workspace.

Responsibilities:

 As a member of the Technical Marketing & Enablement group in the EUC Business Unit you will be responsible for Technical Marketing & Enablement activities in India/APJ and align with WW team.

 EUC products expert and evangelist who is capable of articulating and demonstrating the important role play in a VMware environment.

 Collaboration with the Product Management and Product Marketing teams who are responsible for the EUC products within VMware technologies and solutions as well as the positioning and the marketing of them.

 Collaboration with our Field Organization to ensure they are empowered to drive and enable our customers to adopt VMware technologies and solutions.

 Collaboration with our Alliances Organization to leverage our partners to work on joint initiatives that showcase our technologies and solutions alongside our partner’s offerings.

 Build solid strategic relationships with customers who are pushing the boundaries with respect to how they deploy and use our technologies and solutions in their workspace, so they may become customer references in case studies, which can be leveraged by our partners and customer who are looking to deploy our technologies and solutions.

 Ensure that technical feedback from partners and customers is brought back to the respective Product Managers to ensure it is noted and taken into consideration when decisions are being made around future technologies and solution directions.

Required Skills and Experience:

 12+ years’ experience in software development teams in building and shipping enterprise software through multiple releases 

 Strong software development and project management fundamentals 

 At least 5 years experience as a solutions architect, consultant or in a professional services organization with experience in architecting and implementing enterprise class infrastructure services and business application solutions.

 Demonstrated ability to successfully work across teams.

 Must be able to demonstrate both a passion for technologies and solutions, and a strong aptitude for business strategy.

 Exceptional people, presentation and written skills are a prerequisite.

 BS or above in Computer Science or related technical degree is required.
