Job Description
We’re seeking a Business Systems Application Developer based in Adelaide, to design, build, and enhance IT solutions that support key business operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end‑to‑end development lifecycle from technical design and development through to integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with development standards.
You’ll work closely with the IT Development Manager and business stakeholders to resolve issues, improve existing applications and extensions, and identify opportunities to streamline and simplify systems. Strong technical documentation and clean, well‑structured code are central to the role, enabling long‑term maintainability and continuous improvement across the application landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the spirit and reputation of the organisation

- Use specialised knowledge in mobile application development to shape solutions to achieve the desired outcomes through configuration and extension builds
- Deliver solutions that help the business drive simplification end to end
- Guide and coach our teams in how we can improve business outcomes by leveraging or enhancing the greater capabilities of mobile applications
- Produce quality outcomes and solutions
- Apply governance principles in solution development
- Solve operational problems and identify, analyse and address the root cause
- Collaborate across functions to drive our competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 5+ years of .NET experience
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET 6+)
- Solid SQL skills, including stored procedures, indexing, and query optimisation
- Experience working with Azure, especially Azure Functions and cloud integrations
- Self-sufficient and able to investigate unfamiliar codebases independently
- Comfortable handling escalated issues and complex troubleshooting
- Knowledge of EDIFACT messaging standards is a bonus but not essential
- Familiarity with .NET MAUI or Xamarin.Forms is a plus
