Viva Energy Australia is hiring a hands-on Full Stack Developer to join our Platform team.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with a talented group of developers to design, build, and maintain applications that power our business operations. You’ll work on exciting new initiatives, delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions, while also providing BAU support for production systems. Job Description
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the platform, including issue resolution, debugging and production support.
- Build and maintain frontend and backend components of the platform.
- Environment management.
- Implementation planning and cutover execution.
- Contribute to the technical design and system architectures.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security across the platform.
- Stay up to date with the emerging technologies and improve the usability of best practices.
Qualifications
About you:
- Tertiary qualified in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- 8-10+ years of experience.
- Commercial experience in developing web applications using C#, .NET, and Web APIs.
- Strong capability across frontend technologies and frameworks, like Angular and Typescript, including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
- Experience in API integration development.
- Working knowledge of databases like Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, Cosmos db.
- Experience in the Azure cloud platform or equivalent.
- Hands-on exposure with versioning and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code ( Bicep, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Git).
- Understanding of Serverless, Micro services and Container architectures.
- Solid understanding of an automated testing framework and secure code practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Technical experience in Node JS, Mobile Apps and development methodology would be favourable.
