The Pricing Analyst role supports the businesses in the commercial and industrial solutions (C&IS) division of Viva Energy by providing accurate, insightful and timely pricing advice to deliver sustainable customer growth.

Reporting into the Commercial Pricing Manager, the role requires a self-motivated, dedicated and responsible individual who can excel under pressure.

You will be given the opportunity to work in a high performing team and deliver tangible results for the C&IS businesses through amongst others

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Developing and implementing pricing strategy for bid submissions whilst maintaining target profitability and ensuring pricing integrity over time.
• Optimising pricing by undertaking regular reviews of customer pricing structures.
• Ensuring price maintenance efficiency for list price customers.
• Providing advice to support the sales function and its customers including market insights and analyses.
• Seeking to continually enhance pricing processes and challenge the status quo.
• Interfacing with almost every part of Viva Energy including sales, finance, logistics, supply, treasury, pricing operations and IT to ensure business alignment.

• A degree in a numerical/business discipline or equivalent.
• Highly analytical and numerate with high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with utilising enterprise software.
• A desire to learn, share knowledge and problem solve.
• Good communication skills – both written and oral including the ability to summarise complex ideas.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and manage conflicting priorities and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
