Job Description

We currently have a great opportunity for a Casual Aircraft Refueller to join our team at Adelaide Airport. This role would suit someone that wants to stay active and has an interest in the Aviation industry.

Looking for a career change? No previous experience is required for this role as 12 weeks of full on the job training will be provided. We would love to hear from individuals from a broad range of operational or technical backgrounds. Responsibilities

As an Aircraft Refueller, you play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient refuelling of aircrafts. This position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values safety, precision, and teamwork. 

Key responsibilities for the role includes: 

  • Mainly focused on tarmac operations to assist customers and conduct Into Plane Fuelling
  • Driving fuel dispensers (including Heavy Rigid vehicles).
  • Engaging in tasks at elevated heights
  • Manual handling tasks and entering data
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ensuring fuel quality control through testing

Qualifications

  • Current Heavy Rigid license is essential
  • Dangerous Goods license desirable
  • Desire to work and contribute to a high performing team
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
  • Strong communication skills with a positive outlook
  • Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) practices
  • Reliable transport and current drivers licence (min. two years full licence)
  • Flexibility to cover changing workload demand within an airport over a 24 hour operation which will include weekend work
