Past experience in an agency setting is an asset
Knowledge of the local media landscape and past experience developing media materials/pitching are highly valued
Examples of the work you’ll be doing include:
Assisting with media list and materials development (e.g press releases, pitch notes, fact sheets, etc.)
Researching relevant influencers for a variety of campaigns and engaging them in brand partnerships
Sourcing materials for, putting together, and sending out media mailers
Pitching local media via email and phone
Tracking social and traditional media coverage
Developing social media content for internal and client channels
Event coordination including liaising with third-party vendors, sourcing decor, and onsite support
Supporting on internal communications and thought leadership initiatives including researching and developing materials for speaking engagements and award submissions
