Cossette Media is actively recruiting for our next Performance Manager. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to work within the Performance Group at Cossette Media. The Performance Group is made up of dedicated subject matter experts (SMEs) who develop and manage world class strategies in paid search (SEM), paid social, programmatic and emerging platforms. Partnering closely and working collaboratively with our Media Planning teams, the Performance Group’s mandate is to drive measurable results to our clients’ businesses. We are product owners and champions. We drive innovation in strategy, testing, measurement and operations. 

Job Description

Working with a team of Specialists and Coordinators you will be responsible for the development of world class digital advertising campaigns and our clients’ success. You will be responsible for creating, executing, reporting on and optimizing campaigns that meet and exceed our clients growing digital objectives. The role is focused around paid search, programmatic and social advertising with a strong focus on performance clients. There is also opportunity to work across other digital advertising channels with a focus on performance-based clients. The successful candidate will require an ability to deeply understand a number of different client businesses, challenges and opportunities.

  Client and Team

  • Operationalize and manage resource across strategic accounts

  • Lead strategy design to implementation on always-on performance programs

  • Develop and maintain strategic and testing roadmaps in search and social

  • Establish high caliber working relationship with internal and external stakeholders

  • Develop and manage a team of performance specialists

  • Produce effective analysis and insight for senior clients

  • Mange team FTE and client profitability

Product + Operations

  • Develop and document performance search and social advertising product

  • Develop assets to position paid search and social services

  • Manage operational delivery frameworks across the team

  • Support recruitment and talent development

  • Manage attainment to forecast and client team profitability

what you bring to the table.

  • Paid search experience: 4+ years (Paid social experience an asset)

  • University Degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Math, or Statistics

  • Experience managing a team and producing results across a number of team members

  • Demonstrated thought leadership and strategic expertise

  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

  • In-depth understanding of and future state of web-based applications, digital advertising systems and analytics programs (Adwords, Facebook Ads Manager, Power Editor, Google + Adobe  Analytics, Bing Ads, 3rd party search tools)

  • Intermediate knowledge of web standards and coding languages (HTML, SEO Principles, Action Script)

  • Accreditations: Google Adwords Basic, Adv, Analytics, Display, Facebook, Bing Certified as asset

  • Strong communication and project management skills
