Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Content Strategist to work on an exciting client within the travel & tourism space. You will work closely with project teams domestically and abroad to develop creative, content and communication strategies that will be used to create, distribute and re purpose content internationally.  

Day-to-day, you would be identifying cultural and social trends in international markets, analyzing, managing and developing market research, and develop relevant editorial themes and story angles based on trending topics and market priorities. This role will stimulate both sides of your brain - it demands both your creative and technical expertise. If you enjoy the poetry as much as the plumbing, this role is for you.

General and Daily Responsibilities:

  • Be A Team Player: You will be working alongside fellow strategists, closely with creatives, and agency partners on the ground in international markets

  • Find Actionable Insights: From social listening to quantitative consumer research, you’ll have access to a range of research tools and data sets to inform your strategies and identify new opportunities

  • Build Amazing Strategies: You will be responsible for building, presenting and advising on strategies that will be activated in international markets - these strategies will require a combination of creative input, connections planning, and content development

  • Lead Internally & Externally: Mentor and promote cognition within the client team-- Keep abreast of trends, innovations, best practices, etc.; develop and present  innovation/best practices both internally and externally


  • You’re hungry: You are proactive, and are able to demonstrate instances in which you’ve taken the lead in identifying new opportunities in your day-to-day

  • You’re curious: You’re interested in people, places, and things, and you’re able to turn that curiosity into solutions that address business or creative challenges; you’re comfortable sourcing, analyzing and interpreting research to find insights to inform your strategies

  • You’re resourceful: You’re comfortable finding your collaborative niche within a team, working on short or parallel timelines, and able to adapt to whatever task is at hand


  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • 2 – 4 years of similar working experience

  • Experience within a publisher or advertising agency environment (desired)

  • Travel & tourism client experience considered an asset

  • Strong understanding of the digital space & experience in online strategy development for websites, online advertising, mobile, digital signage & social media.

  • Highly collaborative and enjoys working in a team setting
