Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role will be to partner with the Director of Finance & Administration supporting the delivery of monthly revenue forecast, resource management, and monthly staffing projections. Responsibilities will also include but are not limited to partnering with senior account teams to ensure accurate pricing of client proposal, budget development and ensuring department compliance with company and financial policies.

Responsibilities:

     Deliver a monthly, project-based, revenue forecast

     Run various ad-hoc financial and operational analysis

     Experience with financial modeling

     Resource management and monthly staffing projections

     Revenue General Ledgers and manage month end close

     Meet regularly with project managers for project updates

     Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and corresponding scopes of work

     Partner with senior account teams in pricing client proposals, and budget development

     Partner with Director of Finance & Administration to review and approve client budgets

     Support client reporting, audit requests, and data collection

     Run financial queries upon request

     Review expense write-offs and unbilled WIP and advise Director Finance & Administration of expenditures

     Communicate with account staff on billing and accounts receivable issues

     Follow up on outstanding receivables and work with staff to secure payment

     Work with billers in collecting commentary on uncollected and past due invoices

     Coordinate financial allocations cross-office (domestic and global)

     Ensure department compliance with company financial policies (e.g., revenue recognition, job requisitions, time entry, travel and expense, credit, billing, accounts payable, new business)

     Train account staff on internal finance systems, procedures, and financial project management

Qualifications

     Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting

     2+ years of Finance or Accounting experience, preferably in an agency setting

      Strong Microsoft Excel skills

     Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

     Client service oriented and fosters positive working relationships

     Well organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail, follows through on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

     Able to articulate financial concepts in layman's terms
