WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING A SENIOR DIGITAL MEDIA PLANNER
We are looking for an innovative and passionate individual, with a thirst for knowledge, to fill an opening for a Sr. Digital Media Planner role within Cossette Media’s Toronto office. The selected candidate will work within the digital buying group to help develop the digital strategy, plan and execute digital media plans for one of Cossette's leading clients. This individual will be well versed in all digital media channels, including direct, programmatic, social and content. This person will also be able to help guide our client to think strategically about their approach to Digital ongoing. This role will be focused on the strategic and planning aspects of digital media and content (they will not be responsible for the creation of content).
Ensure thorough understanding of client business operations & priorities
Contribute strategic audience & tactical insights and ideas, for all digital media channels
Research, develop & pitch comprehensive digital plans
Management of digital campaign execution, performance and analysis
Communicate with clients on marketplace intelligence
Research and apply emerging opportunities in the evolving digital media landscape. Identify & action with your team innovative, first-to-market executions
Translate performance data and KPIs to meaningful insights & optimizations
Supervise & mentor entry-level colleagues, working closely to execute required performance optimizations of campaigns
Provide ongoing recommendations to creative team and agency partners on best practices for digital media (ex. formats)
5+ years experience in digital strategy/buying role preferred including familiarity with various buying models
Proficient with GDN/DBM, Facebook Power Editor and Twitter Ads, as well as social ad formats and their uses
Understanding of the role of branded content in a media plan
Strong understanding of analytics and brand effect studies preferred
Knowledge of industry tools such as comScore Media Metrix, and various ad serving solutions (ex. DCM)
Some proficiency with reporting Dashboards such as Tableau or Domo preferred
Articulate written & verbal communication skills - a strong presenter, comfortable articulating & justifying ideas and recommendations
