Job Description

Visa’s internal Social Studio is seeking a visionary leader to manage major campaign development and oversee flagship social capabilities and growth across Core Brand and Marketing Services. This role serves as the senior business owner for assigned initiatives—translating strategy into clear creative direction, aligning executive and cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring work is delivered with excellence, speed, and rigor. This role reports to the Sr. Director/Head of the Social Studio at Visa.

You’ll partner closely with Creative Studio, Marketing Services, Global Brand Marketing, Sponsorships, PR, Experiential, Media, Legal, and Finance—leading internal and external partners from brief to launch. You’ll also help evolve a modern in-house model by raising creative standards, strengthening end-to-end processes, and introducing new ways of working, including AI-enabled efficiency.

What You’ll Do

Social Campaign + Program Leadership

  • Own end-to-end social initiatives across Core Brand and Marketing Services—from intake and brief through concepting, production, rollout, and reporting.

  • Translate business goals into actionable social strategy and clear briefs.

  • Serve as DRI (Direct Responsible Individual) for assigned programs—defining scope, RACI, milestones, KPIs, governance, and decision paths, and driving tight alignment and fast execution.

  • Facilitate creative reviews and approvals—ensuring work is on strategy, on brand, and meets Visa’s social strategy and creative bar.

Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • Align stakeholders across different functions, helping lead and orchestrate big ideas and complex social activations.

  • Lead internal teams (Creative, Strategy, Project Management, Operations) and manage external agencies and partners to deliver with clarity and accountability.

  • Act as a connector across disciplines and senior leadership—driving decisions, resolving tradeoffs, and protecting the work.

  • Partner with Social Studio leadership to elevate the quality of the work and bring each idea’s core vision to life.

Operational + Financial Ownership

  • Own budgets and forecasting, ensure delivery on brief, on time, and within budget while maintaining creative quality and compliance.

  • Lead AOP planning inputs, RFPs, scopes of work, and vendor/agency management for assigned programs.

Creative Leadership + Modern Studio Building

  • Raise the bar on social strategy and creative development through stronger processes, toolkits, and ways of working—building a more agile, modern, AI-enabled studio.

  • Partner with Global Brand leadership to identify, evaluate, and operationalize strategic expansion of Social Studio capabilities and services.

  • Lead with a “high craft + high standards” mindset—able to roll up your sleeves when needed while inspiring teams through clear direction and strong taste.

  • Mentor and develop talent, build a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and creative excellence.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
