Job Description
Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Product Manager (multiple openings) in Los Angeles, California to:
- Analyze business performance using data and develop monitoring tools to support strategic decision-making.
- Upgrade and maintain data infrastructure and Business Intelligence systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Leverage data insights to define product positioning, inform product strategy, and support market and internal optimization efforts.
- Assess ecosystem health and contribute to the continuous improvement of Visa’s product offerings.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Visa Authentication solutions, providing guidance and leadership in this domain.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior product managers, managing priorities and fostering professional development.
- Domestic travel required 5 – 10% of the time.
- The position reports to the Los Angeles, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a data analysis, product management, or risk management-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
- Data analysis tools like R, Tableau, and Python;
- Deep understanding in authentication data sources and Visa Secure / EMV 3DS fields and messages;
- Deep understanding of authorization data;
- Visa Risk tools, specifically VCAS, VRM;
- Product development/deployment; and
- Financial Services/Payments.
Additional Information
Worksite: Los Angeles, California
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: Domestic travel required 5 – 10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is $158,808.00 to $243,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
