Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

Within VCA exists VCA Implementation Services (VIS), a hands-on execution partner, implementing, operating, and optimizing Visa products in client environments to accelerate activation, portfolio growth, risk control, and data-driven performance.

Job Description

The Visa Consulting and Analytics is looking for a high-performance individual to join its Implementation Services practice team and play a key role in developing and delivering high impact projects across the Andean region. The potential candidate will proactively engage with Visa Clients, creating the sales pipeline, delivering, implementing, and executing projects and solutions on behalf of issuers, acquirers, and merchants. This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.

The Implementation Services Analyst will support the design, implementation, and execution of VCA’s recommendations. This individual will shape delivery frameworks and methodologies and support end-to-end implementation of customer lifecycle programs, card portfolio solutions, product development/redesign projects, process improvements, and any enablement required to drive payment volume, revenue growth and efficiencies on behalf of our partners across the LAC region.

This role will combine business intelligence with Visa’s data assets, proprietary analytical solutions, cutting edge digital platforms, program capabilities, best practices, and partnerships to enable engaging interactions, optimized results and product enhancements.

The potential candidate will be responsible for executing project related activities that drive our partners results. This person will support the development of initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.

Potential engagements could include the setup and execution of initiatives generally derived from consulting engagements, which include structuring a detailed action plan, building a project governance model, monitoring the execution and activities and giving client stakeholders visibility on progress and improvement opportunities.

Specific duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Program Management and Execution:
    • Support the development of project plans reflecting the tasks, responsible and calendars
    • Coordinate all the areas and stakeholders involved in the projects (both internal and internal)
    • Support project delivery efforts ensuring it meets the expected business and project results and calendars
    • Comply with the internal administrative requirements of a project management practice
  • Performance Management & Reporting: Track and measure program KPI’s. Analyze results, provide insights and foster a virtuous cycle of continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Serve as liaison with functional teams ensuring consistency and collaborative working environment throughout Visa’s local, regional and global groups.
  • Data Management: manipulate data proficiently through existing tools or programing skills, as well as augment traditional data with complementary sources
  • Data Descriptive Analysis: structure information in the most optimal way to accomplish and streamline ETL processes, as well as perform analysis to summarize business, portfolio, client and account level trends.
  • Client Facing:
    • Maintain and strengthen the relationship with the clients
    • Identify and inform opportunities

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or Actuary
  • 3-5 years of work experience in financial services, payments, consulting and similar
  • Project management skills given that this role involves the support on the execution of multiple projects with multiple stakeholders and multiple markets simultaneously.
  • English and Spanish required (written, verbal)
