The team leads strategic initiatives such as agentic commerce, unified checkout, tokenization, and alternative payments, collaborating with product, engineering, marketing, sales, and regional partners to drive the future of digital commerce.
What a Senior Director, Agent Commerce Acceptance Strategy does at Visa:

Interface with product, engineering, marketing, sales, and regional solutions teams to ensure seamless integration and market adoption of agentic commerce solutions.
Develop and champion agentic commerce narratives for merchants, acquirers, and partners, clarifying value propositions and driving adoption across regions.
Define and implement scalable, network-agnostic agentic acceptance solutions, leveraging Visa’s strengths in tokenization, digital identity, fraud management, and dispute resolution.
Drive partnership and co-innovation efforts with leading AI platforms, technology providers, and ecosystem partners (e.g., OpenAI, Microsoft, AWS, Stripe) to accelerate agentic commerce enablement.
Oversee the development of dashboards, reporting tools, and enablement resources for internal and external stakeholders, supporting onboarding, integration, and performance monitoring.
Champion compliance, security, and trust-led differentiation in agentic commerce, embedding Visa’s standards and governance into new transaction types and protocols.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver bundled agentic product offerings, pilot programs, and production deployments with enterprise clients and ISVs.
Why this is important to Visa:
This role is pivotal in shaping Visa’s leadership in agentic commerce—a transformative shift where AI agents autonomously transact on behalf of users and businesses. By driving best-in-class agentic acceptance strategies, you will enable Visa to unlock new growth opportunities, accelerate digital transformation, and serve merchants, acquirers, and partners globally. Your work will directly impact Visa’s ability to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative commerce experiences in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.
