Job Description

Visa’s Affluent Platforms division within the Global Affluent & Benefits organization is responsible for building products and capabilities that are critical for growing Visa’s card payments especially in the Affluent segment. As a key member of the Affluent Platforms team, this role will be responsible for the ongoing product management, development and expansion of global Visa Affluent platform products, which include APIs, UIs, backend systems and solution partners that enable Visa and Issuers to create, manage and distribute powerful cardholder value propositions globally. This role involves supporting and spearheading the development of new features, improving existing ones, and ensuring the overall functionality of the product platforms with special focus on distributing benefits in conjunction with benefit partners..

Key activities include:

  • Supporting regions and other stakeholders in delivering the distribution of global and regional benefit experiences
  • Developing, communicating, and collaborating upon requirements across various stakeholders including 3rd party partners
  • Working alongside tech partners to ensure end to end delivery of the full benefits value chain solution
  • Working with key areas of the business to ensure that all areas concerning benefits distribution are fully accounted for, including the global design, legal and privacy teams.
  • Supporting delivery teams with clarity where needed and actively solving for blockers
  • Working with Product Managers to build and manage our roadmap and backlog
  • Act as subject matter expert on technical and operational delivery of benefits distribution
  • Support the build out and run of benefits distribution operational aspects including client support, onboarding, reporting and billing.
  • Contribute to stakeholder facing artefacts including user guides, implementation guides and sales packs as well as assisting in stakeholder education and training sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Development: Translate product strategy into actionable product development, delivery and solutioning efforts.
  • Process Improvement: Establish, document, and refine development and operational processes for the product and product development Product Engagements: Work closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure product requirements are well-rounded and prioritized appropriately.
  • Operational Activities: Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure the systems are operating as expected, resolving issues, and coordinating activities.
  • Candidate must be available to support clients and partners across global time zones. Willingness to work some multi-time zone hours to collaborate with teams regional hubs.
  • Some limited travel may be required.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 2 plus years in a technical or operational product management roles
  • 3 plus years utilizing Business Analysis skills
  • Proven experience working in an Agile methodology environment, ideally SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) (e.g., SCRUM, DSDM, Lean/Kanban) an advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and stakeholder management, with an ability to translate business needs clearly to a technical team.
  • Good technical understanding of web applications and APIs.
  • Great intellectual agility and attention to detail.
  • Open to feedback, and able to deal with ambiguity and work on multiple concurrent activities.
  • Able to work and manage teams that are geographically dispersed and across time zones (direct experience an advantage)

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,200.00 to 211,850.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
