Job Description

Visa’s Internship Program provides an immersive, 12-week journey where you’ll work on impactful projects that drive Visa’s mission forward. As a Visa intern, you’ll build valuable connections across the organization, sharpen your communication and business acumen, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global environment.  

Throughout the program, you’ll have exclusive access to interactive workshops and learning sessions designed to deepen your expertise, expand your industry knowledge, and elevate your professional skillset. You won’t just be learning, you’ll be contributing, collaborating, and innovating every step of the way. In addition to professional development, you’ll enjoy a variety of intern social events that foster community, connection, and fun throughout the summer.  

The experience culminates in an exciting final presentation, where you’ll showcase your project achievements, share key insights, and present your recommendations to Visa’s leaders and stakeholders. As a Sales Enablement Intern, you will play a key role in supporting onboarding, training, and content management initiatives that help our sales teams succeed. Over the course of 12 weeks, you’ll assist with creating and updating enablement materials, coordinating training sessions, organizing content repositories, and contributing to special projects that enhance sales readiness. This role offers hands-on experience in enablement strategy and execution, providing valuable exposure to cross-functional collaboration and the tools that drive revenue performance. 

Some job duties and projects could include:  

Potential Summer Projects 

  • Sales Tools Optimization: Document processes for CRM (Dynamics) and enablement tools and create quick reference guides for new users. 
  • Special Engagement Initiatives: Contribute to creative projects like gamified onboarding activities (e.g., scavenger hunts) or internal marketing to boost engagement. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Support the development and maintenance of enablement materials (presentations, guides, templates). 
  • Coordinate scheduling and communication for enablement events and training sessions. 
  • Assist with reporting and analytics on training attendance, content usage, and engagement metrics. 
  • Draft internal communications to promote enablement programs and updates. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product) to gather information for enablement resources.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications  

  • Students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Communications, Education, Instructional Design, Marketing or related field graduating December 2026-August 2027  
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.  

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Interest in sales readiness, onboarding, and GTM strategies 
  • Clear written and verbal communication. 
  • Ability to work well in a team and ask clarifying questions. 
  • Ability to create engaging content (presentations, guides, internal communications). 
  • Comfortable with basic tools (Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Exposure to Teams, SharePoint, or similar platforms. 
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn CRM (e.g., Dynamics) and enablement platforms. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills. 
  • Ability to manage tasks and deadlines. 
  • Attention to detail when handling content or reports. 
  • Understanding of how AI tools (e.g., chatbots, generative AI) can support sales enablement. 
  • Ability to experiment with AI-driven features for content creation or data insights. 
  • Familiarity with Excel formulas or simple dashboards. 
  • Interest in interpreting sales metrics. 
  • Ability to design simple slides or edit documents. 
  • Experience with Canva or similar tools is a plus. 
  • Awareness of social selling, digital engagement, or e-commerce. 
  • Any coursework or projects related to marketing or sales. 
  • Ability to suggest improvements or new ideas for enablement materials. 

Additional Information

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $26 to $30 which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. 

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time. 

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
