Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to manage global procurement operations team. This position will manage and guide internal business partners through the daily activities within the contract and purchasing processes while ensuring adherence to compliance regulations in accordance with Visa’s Global Sourcing and Procurement policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a very motivated team of procurement operations professionals to deliver defined targets of SLAs/ KPIs for Cycle time and Quality.
- Perform root cause analysis of SLA/ KPIs and fix the problems at source via process changes, system enhancements or policy changes.
- Acts like Global Process Owner for P2P, collaborate with up-stream and down-stream teams to ensure 100% compliance with Visa policies and procedures.
- Maintains all the process documents and identify opportunities of standardization, simplification and automation.
- Embraces GenAI tools, identifies process improvements opportunities and executes them by coordinating with global, cross functional teams.
- Perform Spend Analytics and identify opportunities for running e-Sourcing and e-Auctions partnering with category teams.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Preferred Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Bachelor’s Degree required, advance certifications like CPSM, CIPS desired.
At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience as a Procurement Operations/ P2P professional with deep understanding of Global Source to Pay process, preferably with a major financial institution
At least 3 years of experience leading teams
In-depth understanding of Global Source to Pay function, Procurement policies and procedures and their application to the processing of center transactions (e.g., processing purchase requisitions, processing purchase orders, modifying purchase orders, executing bidding for transactions, and executing RFP’s, as required).
Experience in managing three or more sub-process within procurement operations function consisting of PR review, Sourcing Helpdesk, e-Sourcing/ Auctions, Analytics, supplier onboarding,
Ability to identify, pursue and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver superior results.
Strong analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills.
Strong planning and organization skills and business judgment, including the ability to anticipate the impact of decisions/initiatives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to influence and communicate effectively.
Candidate must be driven, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
Proficiency in purchasing systems and organizational interfaces (including Ariba, Coupa, ZIP, Oracle, etc)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Co-Pilot, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
Experience in implementing process improvements by using automation and GenAI tools
