Job Description
Editorial & Content Management
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple client communications across VBN and Visa Access, from content planning to publishing.
- Edit, proofread, and refine communications to meet editorial standards, ensuring clarity, brevity, and audience relevance.
- Maintain adherence to Visa’s style guides, branding, and regulatory requirements for all written content.
- Provide editorial guidance to stakeholders to ensure messages meet their intended purpose.
Planning & Coordination
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop content plans, manage editorial calendars, and schedule communications for maximum impact.
- Balance multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Monitor communications performance and suggest improvements based on analytics and stakeholder feedback.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners across Product, Technology, Operations, and Marketing.
- Act as a trusted advisor on best practices for client communication delivery channels, including email and online platforms such as Visa Access.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders to align on timelines, objectives, and outcomes.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an editorial, content management, or communications role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven ability to write and edit professional communications with precision and audience focus.
- Strong project management skills with ability to track multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Proficiency with digital content platforms and tools (e.g., CMS, email marketing tools).
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience in a global or multiregional capacity, with strong cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Written and verbal knowledge of a secondary language (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean).
- Familiarity with corporate communication standards/style guides.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 89,200.00 to 126,250.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
