Digital Sales is at the forefront of Visa’s sales organization, playing a pivotal role in building stronger relationships with our clients and scaling our business. Build, own and manage relationships with a large territory of longtail accounts as a full sales cycle seller. Drive sales/upsell/cross-sell in a comprehensive selling motion, across all Visa products and solutions, which includes virtual engagement and system touchpoints.
What we expect of you, day to day.
- Drive sales growth within your client portfolio by understanding and integrating their strategic objectives and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Lead business development initiatives to expand Visa’s customer base in Portugal and other European markets.
- Manage existing customer accounts, identify new business opportunities, maintain account plans, create presentation materials that are applicable to all levels of the client organization.
- Forecast sales and have knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process, ensuring sales tools are utilized appropriately and maintained regularly.
- Participate in client communications, and develop and deliver client presentations using phone, video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and webcasts.
- Maintain industry trend knowledge and government regulations that may affect assigned territory.
- Collaborate with digital sales team to develop new business strategies and tactics. Participate in ongoing digital sales trainings.
- Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets and KPIs
- Effectively communicate Visa’s value proposition across multiple products and solutions.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- 1-2 years of sales or relevant experience
- Experience in payments industry is highly valuable
- Fluent in English. Strong proficiency (at least C1) in Portuguese
- Basic understanding of digital sales tools such as Microsoft Dynamics.
- Work independently and engage multiple levels of management in key decisions where required for the business
- Strong ability to communicate basic concepts and exchange ideas and account information clearly and concisely.
- Manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships
