Job Description

Team Summary

The Regional Sales Excellence team drives efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation across Visa’s sales organization in Asia Pacific. We focus on executing regional priorities, identifying growth opportunities, and enabling high-impact sales strategies. As part of our transformation efforts, we are actively adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance pipeline analytics, automate reporting, and improve client communications, helping build a smarter, more agile sales organization.

What an Analyst, Sales Excellence does at Visa:

Reporting to the Vice President Head of Sales Excellence AP, the role will involve:

  • Client Engagement Survey Management: Lead Visa’s Annual Client Engagement Survey in AP by working with Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs) to identify contacts, drive responses, and deliver post-survey analysis to leadership.
  • Sales Rule Review Coordination: Organize reviews of Visa Rule updates across AP, assess business impact, and provide go or no-go  recommendations to the Rules Committee based on feedback and business knowledge.
  • Project Management Office (PMO) Governance: Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, including documentation, risk management, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Process Improvement: Collect feedback to refine communication strategies and improve future VBN cycles using data-driven insights.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Track and report on the status of multiple projects, providing visibility to leadership on progress, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Sales Operations and Workflow Optimization: Use technology to improve sales processes by identifying areas for automation and simplification across Asia Pacific markets.
  • Dashboarding and Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to track performance, sales trends, and key metrics for better decision-making.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Analyze business challenges, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions to boost efficiency.
  • Process Innovation: Think creatively to improve existing workflows and introduce new ideas that support continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, BPOs, and other teams to align priorities, share insights, and support client-focused transformation.
  • System and Data Management: Ensure clean and reliable sales data by resolving inconsistencies across platforms, enabling accurate reporting and scalable operations.
  • Project and Program Management: Lead and support client communications through bi-annual Visa Business News (VBN) updates, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across departments.

This role is a key team player of the Sales Excellence team, which has 2 main functions: 1) to run the client communication office and our AI training and 2) run all the tools, training, pipelines and processes that enable our sales teams to be more efficient and effective.

This particular role is part of the client communication team, which in turn forms part of a wider Project Management Office that plays a key role in driving efficiency, innovation, and smarter communication strategies across Visa Asia Pacific through the improvement of processes, and automation of reporting so as to enable high-impact go to market strategies and assist front line salespeople to be more efficient and effective as we drive towards Sales 2.0 and Visa 2030 goals.

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, PMO, sales operations, client enablement, or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including impact assessments and stakeholder mapping.
  • Proven ability to lead and support complex projects, especially those involving change management and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in dashboarding and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales pipeline management.
  • Background in business analysis, sales enablement, or related fields preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills, with a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to think creatively, challenge existing processes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional, and multicultural environments.
  • Proficient in tools such as Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Compass.
  • Skilled in reporting, documentation, and presentation development for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for operational excellence, sales transformation, and client-centric innovation.
  • Exposure to governance frameworks, compliance processes, and survey tools is a plus.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) is highly desirable.

What will also help:

  • Basic understanding of Visa’s products and services or the payments industry is preferred.
