The Visa Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) team is a world-class commercial organization experiencing exciting growth opportunities as we expand into money movement and continue to grow our core commercial card solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as we expand to bring payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients and Governments. We work closely with Financial Institutions, Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services. We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world.
What a Senior Manager – Business Development, Visa Commercial Solutions does at Visa:
Reporting to Head of Visa Commercial Solutions, China, this person will work closely with the CMS Greater China team as well as Hub CMS product team in Singapore. Performance metrics will be a mix of financial metrics (such as payment volume, revenue, new program launches) and non-financial metrics (such as net promoter scores from Visa clients, employee engagement survey, delivering innovation engagements). The position requires effective engagement with senior leaders and peers across internal Visa as well as with external stakeholders, regulators, clients, and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop & execute a strategy (and related initiatives) for Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) business expansion in China market as well as in the Greater China region.
- Responsible for farming the existing VCS opportunities through the collaboration with client relationship management team, merchant & acquiring team as well as digital partnership team in the region on covered accounts.
- Responsible for hunting the new VCS opportunities as the key business development lead for new accounts across the region.
- Manage partnerships with B2B focused Fintech and with large technology majors. This would include Greater China based technology companies, which are seeking innovative payment solutions in and outside of their home markets.
- Be able to understand and communicate your sales engagements and execution plans to all levels of audience includes business, product & solutions and senior executives.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics, Computing Science or a related field is required.
• Minimum 10 years business development, client management and/or channel management experience in commercial payments, corporate, commercial and institutional banking preferred.
• Proven track record of working with 3rd party fintech companies in China and successfully launch cross-border payment related projects.
• In-depth knowledge of cross-border business is a plus.
• Technical background is a plus.
• Demonstrated sales performance track, driving results with ability to lead and operate effectively within cross-functional teams and in matrix environments.
• Product management subject matter expert with experience in developing and deploying go-to-market strategy for payment solutions or technology a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in selling complex solutions or B2B product consulting.
• Exceptional ability to engage at executive management level internally and externally.
• Proven ability to translate and implement strategic initiatives, policies and operational decisions to successful and desired outcome.
• Strong communicator and collaborator.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships at all levels, including executive management.
