Job Description

  • Lead and mentor engineering and testing teams in application development and automation for the FP&A  Platform.

  • Provide hands-on technical and functional guidance to enhance team skills and innovation.

  • Implement AI/ML technologies to develop solutions that improve business value and customer outcomes.

  • Design and optimize solutions for complex systems, ensuring alignment with industry trends and standards.

  • Interpret business requirements into technical designs and specifications.

  • Evaluate technologies and implement best practices for engineering.

  • Design applications from the ground up, including data modeling and user interface design.

  • Manage a team of 5+ members, fostering collaboration and accountability.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers and technology partners.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters’ degree in Computer Science Engineering or other related fields with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Application development/engineering with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
  • Proficient in Java/J2EE/REST technologies and frameworks like Spring/SpringBoot, Sprint MVC, JPA, Hibernate etc.
  • Experience in API Development for producers and consumers adhering to all standards for security and reliability.
  • Experience in database such as Oracle, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and any of the NOSQL
  • Strong understanding of generative AI models and tools, such as GPT, Llama, and Anthropic etc., and using MCP (Model Context Protocol)
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools such as GitHub copilot, chatGPT, Claude, Copilot for Microsoft 365, and other relevant platforms
  • Experience with system design and tech stack upgrade to build highly available, secure, maintainable, performing, and scalable applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in software configuration management with tools development, automation (GIT, Maven, Artifactory, Jenkins, CI/CD etc.,)
  • Experience in logging tools such as Splunk, Humio, etc., for Monitoring and Issue triage
  • Experience in driving the production/customer reported issues to closure.
  • Proven experience delivering highly scalable and available production systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business acumen, ability to grasp big picture and explain to team in simple terms.
  • Track record of hiring and managing world-class software engineers.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle principles.
  • Experience working with cross-functional, cross-geo location with common objective as OneTeam.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity.
  • Experience developing & leading teams as part of Agile/Scrum team.
  • Passionate about delivering zero defect code that meet or exceed the proposed defect SLA and have high sense of accountability for quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented.
