Job Description
The Corporate Strategy teams tackle some of Visa’s toughest questions to chart our long-term strategy. Our Corporate Strategy group is composed of six distinct teams: a Global Strategy team - driving strategy work across Visa's businesses, geographies, and functions, and five regional teams - driving strategy work in each of Visa's five geographic regions. We currently have Sr. Manager roles available on both Global Corporate Strategy and North American Strategy.

In this role, you will embark on a structured two-year experience that serves as the foundation for a lasting career at Visa. The two-year experience is designed for you to receive regular coaching, develop a board network across Visa, and tackle the most difficult and pressing strategic and operational topics at Visa. After two years, you will continue to grow on the strategy team or move to a broader business area at Visa.
The Sr. Manager: Corporate Strategy will:
Lead or support major workstreams across strategic projects, developing unique and creative solutions that strengthen Visa Inc.'s corporate strategy
Structure projects and/or workstreams for the corporate strategy team. This includes setting deadlines, creating roles and responsibilities, owning readouts, and more
Develop rigorous, fact-based, quantitative analyses to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness of recommendations
Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional staff in a clear, concise, and impactful way
Participate in and occasionally lead regular strategy and payment focused trainings
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking or equivalent
• Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry not required, but a plus
• Ability to independently lead and manage projects with multiple workstreams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling
• Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior stakeholders and external business partners
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159,100 to 230,900 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
