Job Description

Visa’s Global Sales & Commercial Operations team supports the execution and delivery of key global initiatives and planning activities across the company. Our mandate is to develop, design, and execute the strategic direction for Visa’s business operations and global sales organization, be the super connector for the markets, regions, global groups, and bring a consistent voice and One Visa mindset.  The team has the following key focus areas: Business Performance and Analytics, Sales Excellence, Sales Enablement, and Sales Tools.     

This role will report into the Business Performance organization which includes Scorecard, Sales compensation strategies and programs, Target setting, the TRUTH business performance and sales enablement dashboards, and Client Insights program (survey, touchpoints). The Analyst will help plan, measure, and track Visa performance. They will contribute to problem-solving efforts and help identify process improvements.

The Analyst will help with the execution and coordination of key global initiatives and operational processes, such as the Scorecard, TRUTH Performance Dashboards, Market Incentive Plan (MIP), Team Incentive Plan (TIP), individual target setting, and other strategic planning and operational activities. They may also provide analytical and business modeling support for other initiatives as needed.

Success in this role will require strong cross-functional collaboration and communication with internal teams, including Regional Business Operations and Sales Excellence, Global VAS and CMS, Finance, and other stakeholders. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate with stakeholders, data engineering, and front-end Tableau developers to support monthly Scorecard and TRUTH dashboard publishing.

  • Coordinate meetings, track deliverable dates, and ensure Scorecards are published accurately and on schedule.

  • Support regional and functional teams to set annual, quarterly, and monthly Scorecard metric targets and cascading to Geo, Cluster, and Country-level.

  • Assist with individual target reporting, including data collection, stakeholder support, and performance tracking.

  • Perform data quality control (QC) and user acceptance testing (UAT) of Scorecard and broader dashboards, especially during monthly publishing, enhancement releases, and business reviews.

  • Serve as front-line support by answering inquiries received through the TRUTH inbox (including access requests) or directing to relevant team members.

  • Maintain team Compass (knowledge management) and SharePoint pages, ensuring all information is current and relevant.

  • Assist with data collection, evaluations, and basic modeling for the Market Incentive Plan (MIP) and Team Incentive Plan (TIP).

  • Provide analytical and business case modeling support for key initiatives as needed.

  • Proactively solve problems by proposing practical process improvements and solutions to identified challenges.

  • Support ad hoc strategic projects and tasks, from ongoing initiatives to helping redesign or document processes.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 1 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with experience using data to support findings
  • Detail-oriented thinker who can break down complex information into actionable steps with appropriate guidance
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Motivated self-starter, organized, and process-focused, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,800.00 to 149,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
