Job Description
Job Summary
The Sr. Business Analyst will play a critical role in the successful migration of our dispute management system to Pega. This individual will be responsible for creating detailed business user stories, managing change, and ensuring seamless integration of the new system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, change management, and experience with Pega or similar platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business User Stories:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure user stories are aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure user stories are understood and implemented correctly.
2. Change Management:
- Develop and execute change management plans to support the migration of the dispute management system.
- Identify potential risks and resistance associated with the migration and develop mitigation strategies.
- Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders, including end-users, management, and technical teams.
- Conduct training sessions and create training materials to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.
3. System Migration:
- Assist in the planning and execution of the migration project, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate with Pega developers and other technical teams to ensure successful system integration.
- Conduct testing and validation of the new system to ensure it meets business requirements and performs as expected.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during the migration process.
4. Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with business units to understand their needs and expectations from the new system.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and feedback from stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, user stories, change management plans, and migration activities.
- Prepare and present regular status reports to project stakeholders and senior management.
- Document lessons learned and best practices to improve future projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, change management, or a related role
- Experience with Pega or similar BPM/CRM platforms is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of dispute management processes and financial services industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
