Job Description
Strategy & Operations Analyst is responsible for leveraging data insights and analysis to drive the development of business strategy as well as ensure the successful operations of the CEMEA Advisory business. Using data tools and platforms, the individual will be instrumental in optimizing business performance and increase efficiency to enable business growth.
Essential Functions
Analytics
The role would cover different aspects of financial and operational planning, analysis and reporting to support the leadership team on strategic and operational aspects of managing CEMEA Advisory practice.
Design and execute ad hoc/monthly/quarterly/yearly financial and operational analysis to be used by the CEMEA Advisory Leadership Team
Co-ordinate collection of relevant data with functional and sub-regional teams
Enhance existing and build new data tools that draw on a host of internal and external data sources to drive deep and actionable insights
Contribute to the design of appropriate reporting and tools to transform complex data into concise and highly readable format
Translate data insights into business strategy and support market teams in translating that into concrete and actionable plans
Support the design and execution of OKR methodology, including but not limited to performance scorecards and tracking against the strategic priorities
Lead the continuous enhancement of existing processes and innovate new approaches to support the growth of the business
Gain exposure to all aspects of the Visa business which in turn offers exceptional opportunities for growth
Teamwork
Actively contribute to the effectiveness of the team by supporting and co-operating with colleagues and providing cover during period of absence
The flexibility to liaise with various functions both within Visa and externally to deliver ad-hoc projects
This individual is expected to interact effectively with various levels of Visa management and their multi regional staff
Strong interpersonal skills will be required to address on-going needs of a complex, matrix reporting structure and multinational organization
Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management skills are essential including the ability to work effectively as part of a team
This is a hybrid position based in the Dubai office, reports to the CEMEA Advisory Head of Strategy & Operations.
Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 4 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 80% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualification
•2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of
relevant work experience
Preferred Qualification
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field
•2+ years of related experience in Finance, Practice Management, Consulting or
Audit functions in a multinational organization, preferably in the Professional
Services industry
•Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, able to resolve tough business
problems with well-structured analyses
•Exceptional report modeling and data management skills with the ability to
work with large amounts of data and organize in a logical and efficient manner
•Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and experience
with building dashboards for self-service analytics
•Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills and ability to clearly
communicate results
•Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and produce and
coordinate time sensitive deliverables, ability to work under pressure and to
meet deadlines
•Excellent organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
•Strong PC and high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel,
Word & PowerPoint)
