Job Description
The Senior Business Analyst will be a member of the Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) Global Strategy & Operations team and will be focused on DASH, the suite of Advisory Services dashboards. Specifically, the Manager will be developing dashboards and reporting to be leveraged by leadership and regional stakeholders. This person will work closely with Global S&O, regional stakeholders, and our IT development team to collect requests, develop, and maintain dashboards.

Responsibilities
- Connect dashboards to various data sources
- Work with other parts of Visa to connect data sources to DASH reporting
- Build out queries or views (from VPC or other data sources)
- Ensure optimal dashboard performance
- Optimize queries to ensure dashboards and reporting are working as efficiently as possible (e.g., fast refresh runtimes)
- Manage security setup and ensure users have right access to dashboards
- Provide technical support to ensure dashboards are working by resolving AskNow tickets and troubleshooting discrepancies or technical issues
- Explore other technical enhancements to streamline reporting (e.g., automated emails)
- Support dashboard visualization, development, and data validation efforts
Given global nature of the role, flexibility to accommodate meetings across many time zones may be required. Meetings could be with partners in PST, IST, CST time zones.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Building out business intelligence reports and dashboards using Power BI, including data cleansing and preparation
- Data analysis and design
- Data warehousing and SQL Server
- Visualization platforms, such as Power BI or Tableau
- Executing projects within tight timeframes
- 5+ years of experience, ideally working with data for most of that time
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
- Ability to accurately document and record issues for follow-up, and commitment to follow-through to closure
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,900 to 180,650 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
