Job Description
The Consumer Products LAC team is responsible for developing and delivering the future of payments in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Product Manager will oversee the development, execution, and commercialization of innovative consumer products, including Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), Visa Flex, and consumer focused solutions across the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region. This role combines strategic planning, market research, and hands-on execution to launch products that meet client needs and deliver exceptional value propositions.
Responsibilities
- Lead product development and commercialization for BNPL, Visa Flex, and consumer product initiatives in the LAC region
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring product alignment with market needs and company objectives
- Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design, research, sales, and marketing, to deliver seamless product launches
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from strategy and roadmap design to implementation and optimization
- Shape new core offerings by designing strategies and creating bundled benefits that align with consumer needs
- Identify market trends, client pain points, and competitive opportunities to influence product development
- Work directly with clients and markets to understand their requirements and develop tailored solutions
- Lead discussions to prioritize pilot launches and proof-of-concept initiatives
- Conduct research to identify new opportunities and develop pricing, market positioning, and promotional strategies
- Design exclusive affluent-focused solutions
- Define the UX/UI design, roadmap planning, and benefit bundles for new and revitalized products
- Ensure all requirements are met for successful product launches and resolve issues during the implementation process
- Deliver key performance insights, best practices, and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Support markets with ongoing product performance analysis and business operations
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
•5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the payments or financial services industry
•Strong understanding of credit products, BNPL, and affluent customer needs
•Proven track record in developing and executing go-to-market strategies
•Experience managing and implementing cross-functional projects
•Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills
•Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and navigate complex organizational structures
•Interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility. Team oriented, collaborative and flexible
•Fluent/native in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 117,700.00 to 170,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
