Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified, dynamic, and experienced individual to join the Debit Processing Service (DPS) Operations team as the Director of Product Operations. This role will focus on driving process improvements, enhancing tools, introducing key efficiencies across the organization and creating product performance data analysis with the objective of improving data driven decision, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product operations, a passion for optimizing workflows, and a proven record of accomplishment. This role will report to VP, DPS Operations
Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a product operations team to increase their influence and impact across their product, technology and client services teams to achieve organizational goals.
Operational Oversight: Own and oversee operational team, ensuring they are effectively leading and executing operational activities.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to design, automate, optimize, implement processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Tools Enhancement: Evaluate and enhance existing tools to support operational activities impacting product, technology, and client services.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, technology, client services, and other departments to align operational processes with organizational objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and support for operational initiatives.
Data-driven Decision Making: Drive and maintain key product operational metrics and enable data to identify opportunities for improvements.
Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of process improvements and tool enhancements.
Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and staying abreast of industry best practices.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- Prefer 4-6 years experience in a leadership position
- Your high EQ enables you to deftly navigate a changing business landscape and use influence across various team
- Proven experience in the payments industry, with exposure to real operations activities such as product management lifecycle, change management, release management, incident management, etc.
- A data-driven mindset, healthy skepticism, with strong analytical skills and a deep curiosity about company data, demonstrated by your ability to derive actionable insights based on data analysis.
- Proven ability to create and manage operational dashboards and metrics to help measure health, drive decisions and direction.
- Strong understanding of product management processes, frameworks and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong cross-functional background partnering with support, sales, product, technology, design and client services teams.
- Experience with implementing enhancements, process efficiencies, new tools and processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in the technology, payments or software industry.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in data intelligence and market insights.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and framework
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 166,600 to 218,000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
