Job Description

Essential Functions

Visa is searching for a design professional adept at both the arts and sciences of making beautiful content that sells in a meaningful way.  This strategic creative will lead the strategy, development and production of multimedia content for Visa’s Product and Business organizations (Product, Tech, Brand, VAS and CMS reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Consumer Product and Brand Communications. This role will manage and lead design agencies in support of Visa internal and external events.

 

The successful candidate will drive progress on multiple projects, work cross-functionally with marketing and key business partners, and communicate strategic updates to Visa’s senior leaders. The candidate should have expertise in key design and relevant technology trends with an eye toward pop-culture to bring content and creative work to life visually that contributes to campaigns that deliver measurable impact toward business goals.

 

The ideal candidate will take an audience-first approach and understands that who you're talking to is as important as what you say and can tailor visual content accordingly. This creative strategist is passionate about creating campaigns, presentations, and developing digital content that people want to consume.  They would have deep expertise in developing high-quality video and other types of multimedia content, both extended campaigns and project specific.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Extensive experience with multiple design programs, proficient in Power Point and Keynote
• Results-oriented professional with 12 or more years of digital storytelling and multimedia content creation experience
• Experience managing multiple, simultaneous design and video projects from pitch to execution either directly producing or working with outside agencies and production companies
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
• Extensive experience with global content creation
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization and build an internal network of advocates/stakeholders
• Can set a vision and build consensus to align senior leaders on a fresh strategy and approach
• Strong experience of the entire Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator is desired

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 137,300.00 to 199,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
